Das Ardbeg Einzelfass #348 wurde in 2001 destilliert und in ein Refill Bourbon Fass gef\u00fcllt. Nach 20 Jahren wurde der Whisky in 2021 mit 46.6% vol. f\u00fcr Wu DRAM Clan abgef\u00fcllt als Teil des Private Reserve Programms von Ardbeg.

Streng limitierte Einzelfassabf\u00fcllung von nur 155 Flaschen! Dieser seltene Ardbeg ist auf dem Markt bereits ausverkauft. Wir haben drei Flaschen davon in unserem Lager gefunden und bieten diese tolle Abf\u00fcllung zum damaligen Ausgabepreis an. Dadurch, dass Einzelfassabf\u00fcllungen von Ardbeg fast nicht mehr erscheinen ist dieser Single Malt von Sammlern und Geniessern gleicherma\u00dfen begehrt. Ein richtiges Schmuckst\u00fcck f\u00fcr jeden Ardbeg Sammler.<\/p>\n

Ardbeg made under new owners Glenmorangie plc. before they had sold on to LVMH who had outbidden Pernod in or around 2004. But enough hi-flyin‘ finance\u2026 <\/span>
\nColour:<\/strong> gold<\/span>.
\nNose:<\/strong> but naturally, fish oils, tar, tyres, lemons and crushed bitter almonds. Look how life is simple! <\/span>
\nMouth:<\/strong> I’m realising that this more or less bears the age of the first stunning 1970s single casks, and that it’s got a similar kind of impact on us. Extraordinary fatness, earthiness, herbalness, tarriness, lemonness and lochness (surely the lousiest joke ever on this wee website, I know I need to apologise but this wee ‚beg just put me in a great mood). The most striking aspect here is that it is ‚one‘. Love the fattish tarry side and yet the light, almost refreshing coastal lemonness. Great combination, pretty ‚obvious‘. <\/span>
\nFinish:<\/strong> long, rather sublime. Balance is absolutely perfect and I’m even finding roasted pine nuts in the aftertaste, of which I could wolf down half a ton without blinking an eye. <\/span>
\nComments:<\/strong> the only problem with the great Ardbegs is that, think about it, you can only have your very first one once (really, diving to new lows, S.) A superb cask, Ardbeg is alive! <\/span>
