Ardbeg 2010 Single Cask #3150 57% 0.7L

Das Ardbeg Einzelfass #3150 wurde am 20.10.2010 destilliert und in ein Refill Bourbon Fass gefüllt. Nach 9 Jahren wurde der Whisky am 07.02.2020 zum Abschied vom langjährigen Distillery Manager Mickey Heads mit 57% vol. abgefüllt. Das war das Lieblingsfass von Mickey Heads im Lager von Ardbeg und es wurde von ihm ausgesucht, da es den klassischen Charakter von Ardbeg hervorzeigt.

Streng limitierte Einzelfassabfüllung von nur 247 Flaschen! Dieser seltene Ardbeg wurde nur in der Destille vor Ort verkauft. Die ersten 100 Flaschen wurden von Mickey Heads unterzeichnet. Dadurch, dass Einzelfassabfüllungen von Ardbeg fast nicht mehr erscheinen ist dieser Single Malt von Sammlern und Geniessern gleichermaßen begehrt. Ein richtiges Schmuckstück für jeden Ardbeg Sammler.

Cask Number 3150
Matured in a single refill bourbon cask, the rich oak has imparted a unique sweetness to this bottling. Fragrant, complex and smoky, this is an especially rare whisky.

Colour: Pale Gold.

Aroma: On the nose, powerful smoke and soot rush the senses. Supple leather, pine resin and more nutty aromas – such as baked Brazil nuts – follow closely behind.

A drop of water releases a wave of fresh, salty seaspray, along with a bold herbal top note.

Taste: Take a sip and experience a silky, smooth, peppery mouthfeel – followed closely by captivating notes of sweet barley malt, cool peppermint toffee and gentle hints of smoked fish.

Finish: A long tongue-tinglinig finish with a bittersweet, sooty aftertaste
